I'm not a moderator, however I've been a part of the community for a while.
I can understand that you feel demotivated to write an application in order to join a server, as I was a while back as well.
I will promise you, if you take the time to write a decent (not 3 sentences but a little bio about yourself) application you won't be let down by the server's quality. We really do look out for the best players.
After all, no-one likes a person griefing them.
