Hi, I am known as Crae_Shaman. I am a 46 year old father of a minecraft mod maniac! A few years ago (4 or 5, I've lost track) my daughter told me about this fun new game she played called Minecraft. I shrugged and said "that's nice, dear". I am a big fan of RTS Strategy games, Empire Earth being my favorite of that genre. I played an Android trial version, and thought it was quite good. My daughter ensured me that the full game was WAAAAY better. I decided to try to play for a few minutes to see if I liked it as much as the Android version. About 15 minutes later, I logged into Mojang, and bought the game for myself, and it has been my favorite game since that time!
I did the same for my Dad about 2 years ago, and his reaction was much like mine! He literally said, "Why didn't you tell me about this sooner?!?!" We have enjoyed playing "Vanilla" Minecraft on The Realms, with much of the family.
I had been playing "Vanilla" Minecraft for this entire time, up until about 3 months ago, when my "Mod Maniac" daughter showed me the modded version she played. Again, convincing me that this was a significant improvement over "Vanilla" Minecraft, already my favorite game.
She has referred me here as one of her favorite networks upon which to play. I've learned to trust her judgment in these matters!! Thank you for your time, and consideration!
