Age: 29
Country: United Kingdom
Bans etc: No bans, and never lied about my age.Hello! I'm Ph03nixxxx, and I'm actually pretty freakin' excited about the prospect of joining this server.
I'm a relatively new Minecraft player; I started back in 2015 on the Xbox One (I know, I know, don't judge me) and enjoyed the game in all its console simplicity, having a good laugh with friends whilst displaying what - at the time - were some pretty awful crafting skills. If anything, I think it was the music of the game that really suckered me in - that plinkyplonky, mellow piano over the top of the repetitive motions of mining completely chilled me out, and soon I was in love with the game and the way it made me feel to play it.
Oh, how naive I was.
My other half (@Grumpy_Pirate, who's also applying here) was the one to introduce me to modded Minecraft early last year and, holy hell, the difference between base game & modded completely astounded me. Discovering how open, creative and genuinely exciting the world of this game can actually be was pretty much a revelation in terms of my pixelated experience, and I was hooked instantly. He's been an amazing guide, and with my nature/magical focus and his technical know-how we make a well-rounded and awesome team!
We're now looking to expand our horizons and join a server, and this one - after doing a bit of research - has seriously leapt out and made itself known. More importantly than anything else, it seems like the moderators and creators genuinely give a damn about the server, and that's something I respect on a huge level (for reasons I'll go into in a minute); from what I've seen so far, this seems like the server for us.
As for me? Gaming-wise, I've been a casual gamer for a good long while. I play the Xbox One, on which I created a crew for GTA Online based on off-roading; man, that crew was like my child. Over the course of my time running the crew I had it featured on Rockstar's Social Club twice, hosted a ton of events, had over 1,000 members (had to create an additional crew to meet the overflow), created an E-zine, had a YouTube account dedicated to the crew (as well as Twitter, a website & a forum) and spent a great deal of my time managing it all. I was a relatively decent leader, but more than anything else I simply loved hanging out with my crewmates, meeting new people and coming together as a team to have a good time.
Other hobbies (because this application is getting ridiculously long now) include creative writing, dyeing my hair a lot, playing Pokemon Go & singing!
I'm so sorry for rambling on for so long, but thanks ever so much for reading. Hope to hear back from you soon!

Hey, thank you for your interest and lovely application.
Thanks a lot for the compliments, may I ask how you found us? Happy to hear it looks we care, we really do, if you have suggestions or complaints feel free to always message me!Heh, that's pretty impressive sadly GTA Online on PC is mostly full of hackers and free mode isn't much fun, but I did enjoy grinding the Heists with some friends, even did all the Elite Challenges at some point. But yeah organizing people is definitely a lot of work.
No worries, always enjoy reading an actually interesting application with all the bad ones we get
Added to the whitelist and look forward to seeing you on the server soon! -

Heists were wicked, and I only wish there had been more of them. I don't blame you for not enjoying Freemode on PC, I've heard it's an insane experience and I'm kinda glad in this instance that I play on a console!
We found Stonebound on a list of servers, before poking around on the Web and having a look at the forum. We tried a few non-whitelist ones first, which were cool but not exactly what we were looking for. Definitely feeling that this will be a better fit!
Thanks again for the whitelist, and can't wait to get started. Have a great day!

There's three new Heists! Came out shortly before Christmas, super fun and playable with 2-4 people, should give it a shot if you can. The story is pretty meh, but some fun missions.
A great day to you too, slow monday maybe? If you don't make it tonight don't worry, the server will be still be around another day

Will have to check those out; remember seeing the promo video for them, but just never got around to actually doing them! They looked insane, but in a good way.
Slow Monday for sure - all Mondays are slow! - but hey, I work in a school. Short days.
