Hi, My name is Kyle. I just turned 17 two weeks ago and I live in a small town in northern Arizona, US.
I found this server on ftbservers.com after using google to find that website.
The exact google search was "Whitelist FTB continuum servers" So I scrolled through that page saw you guys were a smaller community that looked dedicated to one mod-pack so here I am.
As for my history with bans or lying about my age; I was banned only once back in 2014 I think. The server was the first server I had ever logged into and I ended up griefing a random player's property a bit and got banned for it. I learned my lesson from that and I haven't had any trouble with breaking rules since. (Except of course getting called out for using ALL CAPS on occasion. Ha Ha :3)
I don't think I've ever lied about my age. I generally go above and beyond for what they want to know and include a fair bit about myself so I figured I'd let that compensate for my age and tell the truth.Now on to the fun part right? Talking about me. It's gonna be a lot so the TL;DR is basically that I've been playing this game for a while and I took a break for a few months. Now I'm ready to get back into it. I prefer smaller communities which is why I was interested in this one.
Now the longer version.
I started playing MC in 2012. A friend at school was really into it and he got me hooked on it. My first experience was on PC and that continued for about 5 months until my PC broke so I switched over to console for a year until I earned enough money from my mom helping her out with chores, jobs, etc. Then I bought my own laptop and the very first thing I did was install and play MC. So I did that from 2013 to 2015 then, once again, my laptop broke. I didn't go back to console I just got a part time job for my older brother and 4 months later I built my own PC and continued playing. I stopped playing Minecraft at the end of 2016 and was addicted to League Of Legends. (I was a silver pleb in that game :P) Then I got really into Modpacks in 2017 with DireWolf20 and Sevadus as the main content creators I followed. I played more until around December and then I stopped because I got burnt out of it. I now want to get back into it hardcore since summer break started. I will probably be on about five days a week for a few hours a day in the evenings. (Assuming I get accepted of course) I have a job as a coach for a call center at the moment so I won't be able to play 24/7 but in-between that I should be on quite a bit. As for what I like to do in MC. I generally am a Jack of all trades kinda guys so I'm not amazing at one thing in particular but I have decent skills in most areas. I got my feet wet again with modpacks by playing FTB Infinity Evolved Skyblock for the last few weeks and now I want to jump into this pack while playing with some other people, and possibly some potential friends.My favorite Mod is JEI or NEI because without those I'd be totally lost and probably have a bad experience with biog mod packs so just having those around means I can work my way through a pack without spending all my time looking up stuff. (Which I end up doing anyway but eh, JEi helps.)
Outside of Minecraft, I play BDO, LOL, PUBG, Rocket League, Terraria, TW3, all of the Elder Scrolls games (except eso.) My favorite game of all time would probably have to be Portal 2 or Fable 2 (I know the first Fable game was better, but I grew up with the second so the nostalgia is real.) I just transferred from my high school (Junior Year) to an online program and I'm working on finishing up that way so I can be done with it by Christmas. After that I'm going to a community college to get an associates degree to then move on to SUU to get a Computer Science degree. (This is subject to change.) Yes college is expensive and is probably not the best financial decision but I'm still working on deciding what I want to do so I need some form of structure to find that out. Otherwise I'll be spinning my wheels where I am at a dead end job and probably won't find a lot of satisfaction in my career.
