Hello, my name is Murphy, and I'm an 18-year-old college student from the United States. I found this server on an FTB server list around 2 years ago when I decided I wanted to get back into modded Minecraft. I had some great experiences playing Tekkit previously and wanted to see what FTB packs were all about, and while I never played on this server in particular, the whitelisted, friendly community is exactly what I'm looking for. I've never had a history of bans save for one that occurred 3 or 4 years ago; I honestly can't remember how long it's been. Essentially I had let my friend convince me to go and start trolling other Tekkit servers for fun, something I deeply regret. I have never done anything of the sort since then, however, and I have been fully committed to being a nice, generally well-respected player on every Minecraft server since. I've never had a history of lying about my age.
A little about my Minecraft experience: I first got into Minecraft when I was about 13; I actually started with Tekkit (skipped right over Vanilla) and got really immersed into the Tekkit mod packs until they started to die off. I took a break for about 2 years, and finally decided to start back up again, this time with FTB packs, as they are much better and have a more lively/thriving community. My favorite mod probably has to be Tinker's Construct, just because I enjoy the additional types of materials, tools, and weapons it allows players to construct. Mixing and matching different materials, modifiers, etc. was honestly one of my favorite things to do when I first got back into modded Minecraft. I do want to go ahead and mention; I played with a community known as CBG for a while before it sadly collapsed. That community was where the vast bulk of my experience in modded FTB Minecraft lied.
Now, a little about me, nothing too major: I'm a college student in the United States as mentioned previously, and I'm triple majoring in Management, International Business, and German, with minors in Russian and Mechanical Engineering. Obviously, that makes me a rather busy person, however, I typically get my homework and other studying done several days in advance of the due date, leading to me having an abnormal amount of free time which I hope to spend here. I'm a member of multiple business and language societies around my campus, as well as part of the DnD club and a few volunteer organizations. Overall, while I enjoy gaming a lot, it has become a side part of my life now, which I think is for the best, however, I still plan to be rather active in this community if I am accepted (to the best of my ability).
I hope my application read well. It's been a long week and next week is looking to be even longer, so apologies for any misspellings, typos, or grammatical mistakes. I'm going to go back over and read through my application to make sure I fix the mistakes I see. In any case, thank you for your time, and I hope to become a member of the community!
