Hi,
My account name is qi2 (no underscore); I live in the Bay Area, CA and I'm 20. I'm pretty easy going, get along with pretty much anyone, and love to help people out with their own projects.

I've been banned from a vanilla Minecraft server a really long time ago for reasons I can't remember although I can probably a record of it somewhere if need be. I don't intend on causing any trouble so please don't let this be a reason to turn me down. I'm willing to answer any questions to resolve this potential issue. (Edit: I have not been able to find a record of the ban however I vaguely remember the situation and am willing to explain what I remember.)

I found this server while looking for a Life in the Village server because playing alone just isn't that fun to me and I'd like some more serious people to play with. (Edit: Now that I've been reading more, FTB Interactions also seems like it's right up my alley and I'm surprised I haven't noticed it earlier. I'm excited to hopefully play on the Interactions server as well as the pack seem awesome.)

I've been playing Minecraft since the game came out and the same with FTB, although I started playing modded Minecraft on Tekkit and Technic. My favorite mod pack lately has been SkyFactory 4 although I also really like Crash Landing and All the Mods. My friends and I often play on our own small server ranging from 4-8 people and the latest pack we played is Revelation and Beyond, however they've gotten bored with it for the time being and have moved on to other games. We typically group up and build 2-4 separate bases depending on what tech or magic mods we're more interested in and do our own thing while sharing materials and equipment.

My favorite types of modpacks are ones that include lots of tech as well as magic mods, however I've always loved the citybuilding/colony modpack idea because I feel like it makes the game a lot more lively. I recently discovered that millenaire and mine colony had been updated and was really excited because I loved their older versions so I've been digging into it, but as stated above, I really enjoy playing with others and cooperating to build big establishments or projects.

Some other interests of mine include cars, the outdoors and geology. I'm a geologist and currently work as a research assistant and also do public outreach by educating visitors at the state park I work at. I'd argue that part of my interest in the subject came from playing Minecraft for hours on end as a kid while the other came from my love for nature and my fascination with the earth. Ask me about my rocks :nerd: .

Don't worry about the ban that sounds like a long time ago, no need to dig that out.

LitV and Interactions, that's quite the combination, the packs are so radically different. You are welcome to hop on either of them or both, our whitelist is for all current and future servers! Feel free to invite your friends too, when they get interested in Minecraft again. I think we can agree Minecraft is most fun if you are playing with friends.
